Tie Dye Workshop
Tie dye bags, towels, clothes, and more! In this session, you'll be able to tie dye an item of your choice. All tie dying materials will be provided, including a limited supply of tote bags and tea towels available to dye. Any other items, including clothing, will not be provided, but we encourage participants to bring their own.
This program is intended for all ages!
This is a drop-in program, meaning registration is not required and space will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Say aloha to an unforgettable summer in the library with our island-style celebration as we wrap up our Level Up at Your Library Summer Reading Program! Bring your family, your competitive spirit, and get ready for a day of games, activities, and giveaways.
🍧 Snow Pebbles Hawaiian Shaved Ice will be selling refreshing treats
🏆 Gold n’ Stuff will be providing free passes (while supplies last)
📚 Free book giveaways and crafts-to-go (while supplies last)
🎉 Event Schedule:
10:30 AM – Mario Kart Tournament Sign-Ups (Ages 10–15)
Race for bragging rights and awesome prizes!
11:00 AM – Baby Crawl Race
Crawlers compete while parents cheer them on! Open to babies not yet walking.
11:30 AM – Storytelling with Singalong + Meet & Greet
Enjoy a lively show and then meet the performers for photos!
12:30 PM – Egg Race (Ages 1–2 & 3–5)
Balance your egg and race to the finish!
1:15 PM – Bubblemania & Company
Discover the science and fun of bubbles—you might even step inside one!
2:00 PM – Shake, Rattle, and Roll (Ages 6–8 & 9–12)
Dash to collect as many bouncing balls as you can!

Mosquito League Unit Experience
Summer is here, which means so are mosquitos! Join Ms. Lily and Ms. Diana from the Greater Los Angeles Vector Control District to learn more about these itchy pests; get a closer look, learn how their biology works and how to protect yourself and prevent their spread. Participants will be given an activity worksheet and a giveaway item.
Registration is Required. Limited to 30 participants.

Kick-Off Celebration for this year’s Summer Reading Program!
🎮 Super Smash Bros. Doubles Tournament – Kicks off at 11:00 AM! Grab a partner and battle it out in our 2v2 tournament for fun and prizes! All skill levels welcome. (Ages 10-15)
🎈 At 1:00 PM, enjoy a fun-filled performance by Annie Banannie, the incredible balloon storyteller who brings stories to life with twists, turns, and lots of laughs!
🎯 Try your luck at our tabletop carnival games—win a game, earn a ticket, and trade it in for cool prizes (while supplies last).
